More stories, old and new.
Same players, new stages.
When I first started writing about life as a parent, I was a stay-at-home, single dad, raising three young kids alone. I was an early-day anomaly in a world that hadn’t quite figured out that dads actually had the capacity and skills to be nurturing, caring and loving. Back then, I woke up every day and just tried to be the parent that my kids needed me to be. And I wrote about it. Blemishes and all.
Those three young kids grew up – quite nicely I might add. They are all adults themselves now with lives of their own. Today, my most proud role is being their dad. Still. So consider this a place where I talk about the rest of the story because we never stop being a parent. We just evolve.
My library of stories
Stop by and thumb through my collection of stories and posts. Many are the oldies when my children were young. Some are new. You may even find some of my original podcasts – something I dabbled in long before podcasts were the rage!
